This part specifies the performance indexes，testing methods，system service，function inspection，and inter-system test related to railway dispatch communication system，for both individual equipment and the whole system.
This part is applicable to the manufacture，construction and acceptance test of railway dispatch communication equipment.
TB/T 3160-2007 Railway Traffic Control Communication System comprises two parts：
—Part 1： Technical Specifications;
—Part 2： Test Methods .
This is part 2 of TB/T 3160.
This part supersedes the technical requirements of TB/T 3053.1-2002 Digital Dispatch Communication System：Technical Requirements and Test Method of Digital Dispatch Equipment and TB/T 3053.2-2002 Digital Dispatch Communication System：Technical Requirements and Test Method of Dispatcher (Orderly) Terminal.
The main changes with respect to the previous editions(TB/T 3053.1-2002， TB/T 3053.2-2002) are listed below：
—System test and inter-system test are added;
—Function inspection， function of safety management and function inspection for maintenance management are added;
—Testing and inspection of different types of dispatch switch systems are added;
—Testing and inspection between dispatch switching system and GSM-R are added;
—For individual equipment test9 the test requirements and methods of both half-connection and full-connection are promoted and either of which can be chosen according to specific equipment.
